Review: Rainbeau Curves Plus Activewear
I have a lot of love for Rainbeau Curves activewear! When I first started my journey to greater health, they were the first company to come on board and support me by sending along activewear. I can never describe the feeling I felt when I opened that first box. The colors, the pieces! I was STOKED with excitement. At a large 4X, I was so grateful that the pieces fit and supported me and made me feel like I belonged. When you hear about people starting a new workout regime, people often tell you to invest in workout clothes that make you feel great. It's already anxiety-inducing enough to do that first workout! Because of Rainbeau Curves, I walked into my first workout feeling confident with how I looked. I will always be grateful for how that helped my confidence! So let's break it down. Because Rainbeau Curves is the brand that should be on your lips if you are plus size and looking for workout gear. Check out my full review in the video above! In this video above, I give you the detailed scoop on this line of figure-friendly, super comfortable activewear. From sports bras to printed tanks, zip up jackets to leggings, you can (literally) outfit yourself for almost every athletic occasion your body can dream up. Psst. I give you the full Here's some feedback for you - I share this in the video in more detail as well. Their sports bras are great for low-impact activity or wearing for athleisurewear. I wear mine around the house all the time. If you are more on the busty side, I wouldn't wear them alone for a lot of support. Yoga? Yes. Running or working out hard? No. Their printed leggings have more give to them and less compression; I would save those for yoga and lighter activity as well. If you are looking for more "sucking in" you will want to stick to their Curve Basix Compression gear. Quick note- the length of the biker shorts (as pictured above) is the bomb!! I thought I might share some pics and video from when I began my journey to health with RC at my side! This is from my first workout, on April 29, 2016!https://www.instagram.com/p/BEzKm_JGI0Y/My first time ever doing step ups. I can't tell you how great I fell accomplishing this goal!!https://www.instagram.com/p/BHTv2ooBYQz/Or the first time ever that I attempted 18 flights of stairs alternating with battle ropes![embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NR8kh8m3H8Y&t=953s[/embed]Ok. I'm going to say something here. It is TOTALLY OK to feel great about your body when you are working out! No matter where you are in your journey, celebrate yourself now. As you are. As you step up and SHOW UP for your life. Celebrate your beautiful work-in-progress body. Celebrate your body for moving and allowing you to wake up every day. Celebrate it and find peace with it as it is. And if wearing kickass, colorful and stylish workout gear helps you to feel comfortable, confident and secure? Get it. Do it. Gift yourself. I give you permission! Here are the pieces I've worn from Rainbeau Curves:Jane Print Sports Bra / Size 3XClaire Print Capri / Size 3XCate Pullover / Size 3XMarissa Print Zip-Up Jacket / Size 3XBrie Print Jacket / Size 3XBrie Tank Top / Size 3XCurve Basix Compression Capri / Size 3XCurve Basic Compression Bike Short / Size 3X Final VerdictPrice Point: Moderate / $21 – $55Ideal Activity Level: Moderate to heavy.Who Is This Workout Gear Great For: Varries. Rainbeau curves has something for someone of every activity level. If you are looking for more low-impact gear, they have leggings and sports bras that are perfect for yoga, walking, stretching and light calisthenics. If you want some basic, reliable and moderate priced leggings, they have that too! If you are looking for gear to hit it hard at the gym, lift weights or run the distance? You'll be well dressed. In short, they've got it all.Favorite Style Not to Miss: Rainbeau Curves excels at prints. Every season they release a few new prints; if there's one you like, scoop it up. My favorite styles from them are their printed athletic tanks and zip jackets. These take a beating, always look great and have a great, true-to-size fit. They don't fade, wash well and are great for all-year wear. (Except the jacket, which is better for cooler months.) Also, I highly recommend their Curve Basix Compression Leggings. They have an accessible price point, so get a few pairs at once. There isn't intense longevity in them - I'd say each pair will last you a season or two - but they do the job well and are super budget-friendly.Do you have any experience with Rainbeau Curves activewear?
