Lady in Red: Asos Flirty Top and Jeans

When I first saw this top from Asos, there was something about it I simply fell in love with. Maybe it was the color, or the quietly romantic nature of the drapes. Maybe it was that it managed to be playful while not showing too much skin for comfort?There have been five times (yes, I can count them on one hand) in my life that I have embraced the color red. Red is powerful and unapologetic. It is for a woman who is comfortable being seen. Which is what I love about this top. It is both bold and graceful at the same time. It makes a statement yet skims the body, which is perfect for days you may not want your top to be as figure-hugging. In short... I literally think this top is perfect.With a top like this I kept the rest of my look super simple. I paired it with my favorite jeans from Torrid, some large hoop earrings and a stack of mixed-metal bangles. For shoes, I went with these super-sexy snakeskin ankle strap sandals. I LOVE a good snake print!! To me, it almost works as a neutral tone!This top is $34 and is currently available online at Asos in US sizes 14-24. Please note, as is traditional with Asos' Curve house brand, the sizes run large. the 24 should easily fit a 26 or 28!
